oridginally built by autosalon magazine (project spl monster issues 39,40,41)the car is complete with 20 odd grand worth of kenwood stereo, 18" davinci blade rims, talon bodykit, pedders springs, front strut bace, oversized rear sway bar,2" manderal bent exhaust and two yellow top optima batteries. The stereo is well... massive!!!. This includes about 150 meters of stringer cable, 4 x 13 inch KFC-XW13ooDVC dual voice coils subs rated at 2000watts each,these are mounted in a ported 21.7 cubic feet box. The subs are powered by 8 1800watt KAC-9152D class D monoblock amps wich are all mounted in the back behind the sub box surrounded by black suede. Sound quality is taken care of by KFC-X1700 plits in the front and they are powered by a KAC-8452 800watt amp mounted under the drivers seat. The head unit is the 25th anniversary XXV-01D.When the car was tested it recorded a smudge over 156 decibels and at perth autosalon 2006 i got roughly 153 decibels. The stereo is detuned slighty however and should be able to get a reading around 160 decibels maybe a little more. A third battery could be added if you wish for more however i dont think its allowed for competition. if you want the subs, amps and the box could be removed easily to have rear seats refitted i do only have the rear seat belts.The car was oridginally licensed as is in perth with permits i have also never been pulled over and it has never had a yellow sticker. |
